Chulita Vinyl Club is a national network of female, non-binary, and gender non-conforming DJs who serve up all-genre, all-vinyl sets. Together, they create spaces that are both safe and fun for lovers of good music and, at the same time, celebrate the immense variety and color of their respective cultures and communities. The collective has chapters in several cities nationwide, including one in Charlotte. They browse YouTube and crate-dig local shops to find records you’ve never heard of before and are just as likely to haul out some soul as some cumbia.
